1. This offer is valid for both locations: our Italian language school in Trieste and our Italian language school in Tropea
2. The offer is valid for all students who book 3 or more weeks of classic group course (= Italian course A – conversation course or Italian course B – complete course) inclusive of accommodation.
3. The weeks do not necessarily have to be consecutive, but they can be spent by the end of 2026, as long as the booking is made before the offer expires.

📜 A bit of history
The term “Black Friday” appeared for the first time in the United States in the 1960s.
The Philadelphia police used it to describe the chaotic traffic that formed the day after
Thanksgiving, when everyone rushed to start their Christmas shopping.
Over time, however, the meaning changed: shops went from being “in the red” to “in the black”
thanks to the enormous volume of sales. Hence the name Black Friday, as a symbol of a positive,

Piccola Università Italiana in Tropea invites you to take part in a unique educational, artistic, and linguistic experience:
an Outdoor Emotional Painting Workshop, surrounded by the colours and light of Calabria, combined with an Italian language course.

🖌️ A Creative Workshop Under the Tropea Sky

This workshop includes 10 hours of outdoor painting, guided by artist and instructor Pasqualina Del Mastro, where drawing and painting become tools for self-expression and emotional connection.

Available dates:
– 31 August – 7 September 2025: daily lessons from 10:00 to 12:00
– 3 – 7 November 2025: daily lessons from 08:30 to 10:30

📍 The workshop takes place outdoors, in scenic corners of Tropea selected to inspire creativity and personal well-being.

🇮🇹 Art and Language – The Perfect Match

The workshop is held entirely in Italian — a wonderful opportunity to experience the language in a natural and creative way. You can combine it with:

• an intensive Italian course (before or after the workshop)
• private Italian lessons in the afternoon
• or during the November edition, a conversation course running in parallel

✨ Final Evening Event

On Friday evening, we’ll conclude the experience with a small exhibition of the artworks, the presentation of certificates, and a final celebratory toast with the group.

Are you over 60? Do you love Italian culture and its language? Our 60+ Program in Italy, starting the 12th of March, is perfect for you!

Through our Italian Language course for senior students, you will immerse yourself in La Bella Lingua, discovering the cultural, historical, artistic, and culinary richness of Calabria and Friuli Venezia Giulia. You will stay with people sharing your interests and the spirit of discovering Il Bel Paese deeply. The program is available in two beautiful, unique Italian regions.

Seniors are attracted by the Italian language and culture; this is why we have created this program. Its aim is to make you live a joyful and rich experience together with people of the same age as yours.

Still, if you also love the company of younger people, do not worry! At school, you will get in touch with people of different age groups, fostering stimulating moments of exchange. Our 60+ courses are organized in small groups of 3 to 8 students to guarantee the highest level of quality and fast and effective results.

Not to mention that spring is an excellent season to discover. In fact, during the 60+ program spring session, you will enjoy the blooming landscape!
