Piccola Università Italiana offers an Opera course for Opera Lovers.
As part of the 2019/2020 opera season organized by the historic Giuseppe Verdi Theatre in Trieste, the Piccola Università Italiana is pleased to invite you to appointments with the operas!
A series of lessons that are meant to take the listener by the hand and guide him in understanding and in full satisfaction of the masterpieces by Bellini, Verdi, Puccini & Co.
The course is open to students with a good level of Italian, as well as to Italians and addressed to lovers of classical music. It has set itself the ambitious goal of creating a comprehensive panorama in the most sophisticated and exciting area of Italian culture: THE OPERA.
Our Opera course for opera lovers includes 6 hours of lessons divided into 2 daily hours (55 minutes each) for 3 consecutive days during which will be presented the life, the works and the hero arias of each opera at the Teatro Verdi.
Before the show, we invite the students to a stimulant and preparatory get-together at the historical “Caffè Tommaseo” where, with a glass of wine or Prosecco, we will discuss and prepare for the performance … strictly in Italian and in the presence of an Italian teacher.
