Just follow this checklist to make sure your language course at our Italian language school runs smoothly.

1. Things to consider before setting off to learn Italian in Italy

  • Check the validity of your passport or your identification card
  • Apply for a Visa at the Embassy or Consulate (for non-EU students) Take a look at our Visa section!
  • Check your health and accident insurance
  • Change money
  • Make a copy of your passport/identification card and insurance papers
  • Organise your personal everyday business (paying of bills etc..)
  • Organise the forwarding of your mail to our school in your name
  • Plan your journey, travel guide, information about the town and the country
  • Cancel temporarily any subscriptions possible (bus tickets, train tickets, magazines etc..)
  • Subscribed newspapers and magazines can be forwarded to the school address
  • Check the validity of your driving licence (if you want to rent a car)
  • Organise someone to look after your home in your absence, to water your plants etc..
