1. Things to consider before setting off to learn Italian in Italy
- Check the validity of your passport or your identification card
- Apply for a Visa at the Embassy or Consulate (for non-EU students) Take a look at our Visa section!
- Check your health and accident insurance
- Change money
- Make a copy of your passport/identification card and insurance papers
- Organise your personal everyday business (paying of bills etc..)
- Organise the forwarding of your mail to our school in your name
- Plan your journey, travel guide, information about the town and the country
- Cancel temporarily any subscriptions possible (bus tickets, train tickets, magazines etc..)
- Subscribed newspapers and magazines can be forwarded to the school address
- Check the validity of your driving licence (if you want to rent a car)
- Organise someone to look after your home in your absence, to water your plants etc..
