There are various language proficiency exams which certify the achieved level of competence in Italian language. These exams are the official Italian language certifications recognizing various levels of language proficiency for foreign speakers of the Italian language, structured into the following language levels:
- A1
- A2
- A2 Immigrazione (for immigration purposes)
- B1
- B1 Cittadinanza (for immigration purposes)
- B2
- C1
- C2
In our Italian language schools, students may assess their Italian language qualification, since the Piccola Università Italiana is an authorized examination centre for various Italian proficiency exams, covering all the above-mentioned language levels:
On our Campus in Trieste we are authorized to conduct
– the Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language from the University of Siena (CILS) and
– the Proficiency certificate in Italian language from the University of Perugia (CELI).
On our Campus in Tropea we are authorized to conduct
– the Proficiency certificate of Italian language from the University of Perugia (CELI)
Our examination preparation course can either be booked as an Italian intensive course or as private Italian lessons.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recognises these certificates for Italian as a foreign language and the examinations for these certificates are several times a year.
