I am writing this in English because I want my fellow Canadians to know what an outstanding school “Piccola Università Italiana” is. I have now attended both campuses – the one in Tropea (5 years ago) and the one in Trieste which I have just finished. Simone and Antonio and their excellent staff provide the very best experience for learning Italian. I will be urging all my classmates at home to choose this well-organized, friendly school.

La mia raccomandazione per l’Università Piccola a Trieste: L’atmosfera dell’Università P. a Trieste è sempre gentile e aperta. Le insegnante – e anche tutto lo staff – sono sempre pronte ad aiutare e attente. L’Università P. è organizzata ottimamente tante per dare le informazioni prima del soggiorno a Trieste quanto durante le settimane a scuola. Generalmente le insegnante sono ben preparate; mi sono piaciute le lezioni, e io ho imparato molto. Studiando a Trieste e stata un’esperienza preziosa.

Das Team der Piccola Università ist sehr engagiert und hilft in jeder Situation. Der Unterricht erlaubt das Lernen der Sprache sehr lebendig und realitätsbezogen. Und in der nächsten Bar kann man das Erlernte sofort ausprobieren. Eine sehr effiziente wie auch angenehme Art eine Sprache zu lernen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

I cannot recommend this school highly enough. The teachers are highly skilled, do a great job and have a wealth of patience with students. The school is extremely well organised, in a convenient and pleasant location and all the staff are extremely approachable. The administrative staff are very helpful. This is my second course with Piccola Università and I am certainly inspired to return.

Ich war leider nur 1 Woche hier in Trieste und habe einen Standardkurs besucht jeweils von 9:00-13:00 Uhr. Mit den 2 Lehrerinnen Sara und Hilary erlebte ich eine spannende, abwechslungsreiche und lehrreiche Woche an der Università. Wir waren 3 Studenten und konnten viel profitieren. Trieste ist eine interessante Stadt mit vielen netten Restaurants, Bars, etc. Die Betreuung an der Piccola Università war herzlich und ich fühlte mich wohl. Danke euch allen!

Piccola Università Italiana in Trieste is a very good choice for an Italian language school. The school itself is excellent and well run. But also, Trieste is the perfect city for studying: not too big or too small, many interesting sights to visit, easy-going, beautiful (on the Adriatic) and not too many tourists.

Scuola con buone professoresse, lezioni con pochi studenti, si impara molto e bene. La consiglio per imparare bene l’italiano e anche per i suoi programmi culturali; cinema, visite guidate, escursioni, ecc.

Ich verbinde meine Sprachreisen mit Urlaub. Die Sprachschule in Tropea, wenn einmal erfahren, lässt einen nicht mehr los. Sonne, Meer historische Stadt klein und voller Leben. Freundlichkeit, Professionalität und Gemeinschaft, die in der PICCOLA UNIVERSITA herrscht, lässt mich gerne wieder kommen. Im Frühling habe ich die wunderschöne Stadt Trieste mit Sprachschulung sehr genossen.

Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit an der Piccola Università, ich habe sprachlich in der Woche einiges gelernt, alle Lehrer waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Freizeitprogramm war ausgesprochen gut gewählt, informativ und sehr unterhaltsam.

I spent two weeks at the school in Trieste in March/April 2017. I learnt a lot of Italian and had fun too. They take teaching seriously but enjoy themselves at the same time. I chose to have individual classes. I recommend La Piccola Università highly. I can’t compare others but it’s a great place to spend two weeks.
